~~~~Had my first one yesterday. Wasn't any fun. Am very sore today (and Not in the area you'd think!). The preparation, the day before though, was horrendous!
~~~~I upchucked everything they told me to drink. It was like a scene out of the Exorcist! MANY times over! Truly! It left my Throat Hurting like the DICKENS!!
~~~The next morning, my throat still hurt - majorly!! AND, Since I upchucked everything the day before, it was an all day event in the Dr's clinic the next day. YUCK!
~~~~Came home and slept till 8:00p.m., then went to bed at 11:00.
~~~My throat finally feels better today, but am sore all over. All A-Ok, though.
P.S. I hope I didn't make anyone UpChuck!

You upchucked? Wow! That hasn't happened to me yet. It was the other end that got the business. I don't think I could have handled the upchucking. Yuuck! I am so sorry. I'm glad you got it over with though.

Yes the prep "work" the night before is the worst of it though. You certainly got a double dose! I am glad you had it done though and are ok.
Thanks Gals! I asked the nurse if it was a normal thing to "upchuck", she said that most of the women did. She said she supposed that the men had stronger stomachs. Hmmm.... But, I'm glad I wasn't the only one! I was a little curious about that!
Well at least it's all over. My Mom had colon cancer back in the early 90s and still is here, so it's worth it.
