Always Something New to find and lick and/or chew

Just like grand children (who can go home); friend's children (that you can leave their home); It seems that I am the relative/friend who is stuck with a darn cute little puppy that is so adorable, but, yet..... very active and annoying all the time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Every time I open the fridge or freezer, she sticks here little head in there and begins to lick the fridge. When I open the freezer, she licks the frosted mugs we keep in there for ice cold beer. I'm so afraid that her little tongue will get stuck! LOL I've got to make sure I'm extra careful shutting those doors! And, she is still underfoot and making me trip!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe I have now made the computer room "puppy safe", so she can come in here while I am in here. HaHa... she was licking the vacuum cleaner earlier. :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I still do not hear her get up, in order to catch her before she pees on the carpet! I don't hear the jingle of her tags until she is in the hall coming this way. Aaggghhh....
So, we go outside so she can potty, and then let her run ragged through the yard hoping she will tire herself out! She still finds my Ivy scrumptious. I've moved the largest one on top of an outdoor table. Amazingly, she hasn't figured that one out yet!

I was so frustrated yesterday when she was in her "hyper" mood, and she was jumping all over me, scratching my legs and arms as I pushed her away, then she would grab my favorite robe that I used as a cover up (it used to be Jeffrey's) and grab it with her sharklike sharp teeth and pull! I just had to pull her mouth open and extract it! She also drags her claws at my chair while jumping up and down.

Reading some material online, I found an easy solution to keep her from jumping on me:
The first time she jumps on me, I'm supposed to look the other way and ignore her. She will loose interest cuz I am not giving her the attention by pushing her away, which in turns makes her continue to jump on me cuz to her, it looks like I am playing with her!
Then, when she drops to the floor, I'm supposed to say "Good Piper" or "Good Girl". I tried it once last night. It worked once. I suppose I will see as time goes by.
Wish me luck!

PS: FW, I am reading the article in my book about children with Boxers. :)

Gosh! Raising a puppy is like raising a child isn't it? You are very patient, loving and kind. Lucky puppy!

Aw, Kay, you are so sweet, even though I'm ready to drop her off at anybody's home that will take care of her!
