Piper Learned A Few Things

I've told y'all about our Thanksgiving trip where we ended up staying with my SIL's family and her 2 rat terriers and my daughter's TeaCup Yorkie, and of course, we brought Piper into the mix, remember?
~~~First thing she learned: Well in between the barking, running in circles, growls, nipping at each other and hair flying..., we just discovered something that she learned while she was there........ Wait for it.......... HUMPING!!! Yep, and you won't believe who she learned this from! The 5lb TeaCup Yorkie. Ok, so tonight... Piper was acting up and jumping on hubby as he sat in recliner, so he got up and turned around so he could ignore her. Well, Piper just hopped up on his leg and started humping! I had to stifle a laugh in a kitchen towel cuz hubby refused to give her any attention and just waited until she stopped. Hubby had his hand over his mouth as he tried to stifle his laugh! Ah, too funny!! {She's getting fixed in the next week or so. Does that help?)
~~~~Second thing she learned (not on the trip): So, a while back, when Piper was still a small puppy (not the 37lb 5month old puppy she is now), we were trying to potty train her by having her ring a bell hanging from the kitchen door. It worked sporadically. We basically gave up on that, cuz she didn't ring it any more. So, today, I'm watching TV and she rings the bell. Hmm.. I had just let her back in a bit ago, but I get up and open the door anyway. She just stays back and stares at me and then stares at the door. After trying to coax her out, I give up. Then, when I'm working in the kitchen she rings the bell, so I open the door again, she won't go out! After one more time, I give up! I guess she just wanted me to stop and play. So, she finally learned to ring the bell, but for the wrong reason. LOL
~~~~Tonight, hubby found a collar that belonged to our old dog, Penny, and put it on Piper. It was a little loose, and she went Nuts trying to get it off! She looked like a bucking bronco! That was too funny. We tried to get a video of it, but by the time we got the camera going, she wasn't bucking any more. After a few minutes of that, she just dropped to the floor and started snoring! Wore her plumb out! LOL
~~~~When hubby got home today, he walks into a sea of shredded carpet! Piper was confined to the front two rooms while I was in the back computer room, and she found some carpet threads sticking out, and she kept pulling and pulling until she just ripped all she could get out! AARRGGGHHH!!!!
~~~~I still wanna take her back to her previous owner, my daughter, but hubby won't let me. :-{
Yikes. We had our male dog neutered at six months of age and he is now four years old and humps all the time!!! Blankets, stuffed animals and stuffed dog toys. Its hard to ignore when he does it on our bed, he shakes the whole bed!! LOL!!
Hahahahaha..... The think is... Piper is a GIRL!! Bently likes to come over right to us where we are sitting and do his business with his favorite stuffed frog and do it there! I always move him - rather, chase him away. LOL
OH MY GOODNESS! Should you just, um, have tile floor all over?
Gary, that's our plan, but $ is a little short right now.
Actually, she's doing very well in that regard.Now, she only potties if we stick her in another room and ignore her while we eat. So, now, we throw her outside. :)
